Yes! All auto transporters used by Lepke Auto Transport have a minimum of $50k coverage per vehicle in an open transport service. If your vehicle is valued at more than $50k, we recommend enclosed transport, which covers up to $150k. Many companies claim $100k for open transport, but trust me — you don't want to find out the hard way.
Federal law limits auto carriers to hauling vehicles only. However, our carriers typically allow up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk free of charge. Anything exceeding that weight may incur an additional fee.
The driver will get as close to your door as possible. However, since these haulers are 80ft long and 80,000 lbs, they cannot always enter tight residential streets. In those cases, the driver may meet you at a nearby accessible parking lot to ensure a safe loading process.
We take a credit card deposit only AFTER your vehicle is assigned to a carrier — $0 upfront. The remaining balance is paid at delivery via cash, cashier's check, Zelle, or Venmo. You can also pay the full amount by credit card for a 3% processing fee.
